RAM means installed memory. Free space refers to disk storage and includes room for downloading, extracting and saving projects.
Sizes measured on Mac; they may change with each release. The 8 GB minimum is provisional. Windows and Chromebook compatibility still requires validation.

The 3D views on this page are not the full simulator. They require WebGL 2.0. Program execution, physics and sensors must be tested separately in the application.
